KIDS @ KCBC
On Sundays
Our church has plenty of babies, toddlers and primary aged kids. We love it like this and we welcome more and more families to join us. We believe church isn't just for adults, it's for everyone!
We want kids to feel part of church and we're relaxed about the fact that often they can't sit as quietly as everyone else! After the initial part of the church service (usually about 20 minutes), the kids head out for our Sunday morning children's KidsChurch. KidsChurch is a great time for the kids to play games, laugh and learn. Our KidsChurch leaders get down to the kids level, relate to them and teach bible based values and practical life skills in an engaging and fun way.
We have 5 age-based groups within KidsChurch, these are:
First Steps - babies & toddlers
Explorers - pre-schoolers
Launchpad - Prep-Grade 4
Discovery - Grades 5 & 6
Impact - Grades 7-9
Playgroups
Playgroups are a safe, fun place to start your children on their educational journey. With supported programs of craft, music, play and more, your child is sure to have fun and make friends.
Our purpose-built centre caters for two types of playgroup sessions:
KCBC Playgroup - children are accompanied by a parent (or another adult), sessions are run by a leader and assistant, and all materials & equipment are provided.
Sessions run from 9.30-11.30am on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday for children aged 18months - 4 years. Cost is approximately $35 per term. Numbers are limited and enrolment is necessary to attend.
KCBC Rostered Playgroup - for 3 & 4 year olds (must be 3 by 30 April), a safe, happy and caring environment for children to develop social and independence skills. Parents are rostered as helpers through the year to maintain a ratio of 1 adult to 4 children as required by Playgrouping Victoria. A staff leader and an assistant run the sessions.
Sessions run 9.30-11-30am Tuesday and Thursday and children can attend either or both sessions. Cost is $380 per year for one session a week ($95 per term).

Boys & Girls Brigades
33rd Victoria Boronia Boys' Brigade
Boys' Brigade's aim is to provide fun, challenge & adventure for all school-aged young men and to train and empower young men for effective leading & mission in their world.
With a Christian foundation, BB has a proven track record for reaching out and providing mentoring programs for young men of all backgrounds, abilities & interests - broadening their horizons and skills with international recognition for their achievements.
BB is about establishing firm foundations. It provides a consistent structured approach to developing young men for life.
Thursday nights during term time
5.30 - 6.45pm - Anchors: 5 - 8 yrs old
7.00 - 8.40pm - No 1 Section: 9 - 12 yrs old
7.00 - 9.30pm - No 2 Section: 13 - 18 yrs old
18th Victoria Boronia Girls' Brigade
Girls' Brigade is an international, uniformed, achievement based organisation operating around the globe through local churches. Girls and Leaders are challenged weekly in building relationships with God and others, learning new things and in service to their community.
We welcome girls from all walks of life from ages 5-21 years to engage in new experiences and find new opportunities to achieve their full potential.
