Primary Schools
A vital part of our Vision is to serve our local community, including the local primary schools. We are involved with several programs in local primary schools.
Kids Hope
KIDS HOPE AUS. is a World Vision ministry aimed at creating a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable Australian children and their families. It is a mentoring ministry built on a long-term partnership between local churches and primary schools, where a caring adult from the church spends one hour each week with a child.
KCBC is privileged to work with Fairhills Primary School and Boronia West Primary School in the Kids Hope program.
CRE
Several of our members are also involved in teaching CRE (Christian Religious Education) in local schools.
Chaplaincy
A couple of our members are chaplains at local schools.
High Schools
As well as connections with Primary Schools, we are pleased to be part of the life of the High Schools in the area, with programs such as Student Focus & Chaplaincy.
The Haven
The Haven is a day program meeting the needs of those with dementia and their carers. It operates Monday - Thursday from 10am - 4pm at Knox Community Baptist Church.
